Hey guys I'm trying to find a clean way to get some rear seat entainment for my son. One thing I must state I absolutely HATE the look of tv's in the head rest its so 90's. I remember seeing someone on here did something like this but with a tablet. I would like to emulate this kind of install.

BTW I GOT THOSE PICS FROM THIS POST https://5series.net/forums/topic/407...proclip-mount/

If I can find an android tablet with a dvd player and some video inputs it would be the most perfect solution. what ever I do I'd like it to be able to play my sons dvds even if i have to buy and external dvd player and I'd like to be able to upload my digital files onto it for him as well

any suggestions on what could I use?

Not that I know of, but you can always get one with an expansion card slot and rip your DVD's to a format you can copy over to that and then play.

Yeah but I don't wanna do that. My vision is to make mod as easy for me as possible. I just dont understand why they come out with these devices that 2 years ago served no purpose amongst all out other handheld devices. And don't add a simple video in function so people can use these things as monitors.

Go with iPads! A couple of iPad mounts behind headrests and either an FM modulator or a bluetooth enabled headphones for rear passengers. You are good for 10 hrs of video or music.
