I need help about lcd monitor
Hello, I have an e60 n52 from 2006 with a 6.5" monitor. Can I install an 8.8" monitor and what do I need to change, if at all? According to the pictures, both monitors have the same connector.

Wouldn’t be too difficult to upgrade to CCC and then get a larger screen. But why bother if it’s just for 20 year old navigation? Are you thinking of a CarPlay retrofit and hence the larger screen is helpful?

After consulting on Croatian forums where everyone says that there is a bit more work involved, I'm still thinking of installing Android, which is much easier to install. The only thing I really wanted was an original BMW navigation system with a large screen.

I will probably install Android for a much easier installation and probably cheaper than the original BMW navigation with an 8.8" inch screen
