Can I use BMW INPA or INPA NCS Expert to get the funtion working. I need help!!!
BMW/ dealer will not program folding on a 2004-2007 non m e60 in the united states. Those models did not have this available until the 2008-present models or a 2006 - present m5.

It might be possible for someone to do the prgramming via inpa, but I have yet to see anyone do it successful here. I have a 2004 530i
and I was able to get the folding option working correctly by adding a folding module to the car. I have since sold the
mirrors to a friend of mine and did the install for him too. It's a long and tedious
process but doable. Where in united states are you?

Hey nigxdoof, thanks for the quick reply, I'm located in Queens, NY by Springfield Blvd, pretty close to you. Right now I got both OEM non-M5 power folding mirrors and the side window switch panel, so you are saying if I add the folding module I should be able to get this feature working? where can I get the module. Thanks again for the help!

Wait, so you are saying you have Non Folding M5 mirrors? Hmm.. I dont think you can get that to fold. You will need the M5 Mirrors that will fold. The module I am referring to will allow you to fold in and fold out he mirrors with a hit of a button.

Coded this on a US LCI (MY2008 535xi). No additional hardware added.

Hi,

Re. the above, thanks for the link. I'm sure that site will come in very useful.
However, I had a look on the spaghetticoder site for the wiring diagram for my pre-2005 left hand side (passenger side on my UK model) power folding door mirror but couldn't find it. Does anyone know if there is an online diagram for the euro cars please ?

Hmmm, this looks like it might be the right one (http://wds.spaghetticoder.org/en/svg...0000019777.svg), but can anyone that's played with one of these mirrors confirm this is the 3 loom version (with door modules, i.e. pre 2005) please ?
