So i was a little bored today so i went down to my local bmw dealership to buy a replacement air filter for my 545... and when i got home to change it myself i opened up my airbox and

there we go, i must have had half the worlds rainforest in that bad boy... leaves, little sticks, more leaves, and i swear i saw a new species or two (jk)!! lol

but on a more serious note, its super easy to do and throttle response and acceleration is much improved, granted my car is at 80,000 kms and i can't be sure when it was changed last (second hand purchase)... just makes me wonder how much better a nice K&N filter would be!

Just wanted to let you guys know and maybe a quick cleaning is in order!


oh btw, the new filter i got is a little different then my previous filter... my old filter had this grey sponge like material glued onto the bottom of the filter, whilst my new one didn't... any ideas?
