Rite.. i saw a guy in a carpark a few weeks back and asked where he got his m6 reps from and he said they come with the car and he said he would prefer standard wheels! so i was like.. wow! sorted then. he got back to me and we are meeting tomorrow...

Now.. are my wheels worth more than his been oem originals.. should i be asking for cash ontop? or are his worth more coz there bigger...

i just got off the phone from him and we are both confused haha

I have goodyear eagle f1's all round and he has 3 mitchelin and one bridgestone on a wheel that seems to be a replacement from the original set

Keep your OEM rims. You don't want his crappy reps.

You are just asking for problems with reps, whether it's vibration or peeling of the finish. If you want M6 rims, get OEM....gonna cost you though.

There's a good reason he must want to get rid of his. You don't want his problems. There are plenty of folks here who've had M6 reps who've ended up going back to OEM.

Those car park wheel deals generally are a bit dodgy for a reason. I'd pass.

yeah reps aren't worth much and more importantly they're very heavy! You'll lose some performance. If you like the look though take a ride in his car first and note any vibrations. If the car shakes at any given speed they need to be properly balanced and may even be bent.

Agree with everyone here, dont do it. Occassionally there are some reps better than the other but you dont know where his came from, nor the weight. Additionally as yourself this, what kind of person drives around on 3 Michelin and 1 Bridgestone, so if he makes that kind of decision, who knows if he has b bent a wheel or had some other problem and thats why he want to dump these.

Most OEs are worth much either, unless they are a very popular upgrade being a 19 or 20 or very rare wheel, but all you have to do is make one mistake with a trade or buy and you'll quickly start missing your standard OE wheels, no matter how plain they are.
