Hello,

I recently made a few extra dollars

($1000.00) and am interested in doing some mod's to my 2005 530i, I have the sport, and premium packages. I have already put in the euro rear lenses, as well as installed sirius. One idea I am considering is buying some used 124's to update my wheels a bit. I am looking for ideas from all of you e60 afficianados.

Tint, Fog Light Upgrade, Angel Eye Upgrade, Aux Input for iPod, etc...

Rims on 1k budget is going to be tough unless you buy replicas.

If you are patient enough, you can get almost new 124 wheels and tires. A lot of 550 owners are dumping their 124s with relatively few miles on them. Just wait them out and they will keep lowering their asking price to about $1000 - $1200. You'll see them here in the Classified forum as well as Bimmerfest's Classified forum.

There are a few people selling their 124's right now. I think that is the direction I am leaning, I just need to be patient. Are the 124's that much better looking (stagger, looks wise) than the 123's? BTW I already have it tinted

Yes! The staggered 124s look great compared to the 123s.

$1,000 sounds like a lot, but not enough to do serious mods to your e60.
