I also got mine done at Window Tinting Associates. They did a great job.
I got mine done for $300 in april. This are the ceramic tints which cost more than the metal tints.

Those posting sub $200, are probably not ceramic tint. Formula One makes more than 1 type of tints. The ceramic one cost around $500 at most shops so for $300 its a great deal.
I agree. There are different price scales for Formula One. Pinnacle Series is their top of the line tint and if you can get it for $300, you scored a super deal.

I've had formula one pinnacle tint on 2 cars now...by far the most durable and fade resistant as well as reducing inside temp (even with light tint).

The only down side I notice with formula one pinnacle is when I'm wearing polorized sunglasses, you can see the rainbow/color prism effect...maybe this could also only be visable in 50% tint, I don't have any rainbow effect in my rear window which is 15%. Over all though, I still would recommend it outright.

Yea, like everyone said, Formula One has two different type of tint. The regular classic series which is a dyed film. No nav/fm problems what so ever. It just doesn't block as much uv as ceramic. Ceramic is a bit pricer but blocks more UV. The color of the tint is a bit richier and more black.

Huper is good, but it will be more expensive than Formula One. Doesn't mean it's better though.

Remember to talk to them about dealing with the dot matrix. There's certain ways about it and you gotta find the way you are happy with.

For Formula Tint, hit up HB Tint Pros in Huntington Beach. Talk to Greg or Lonnie and tell him the asian Mike in the White M3 sent you.
For Huper, hit up Sal @ Perfect Window Tint in Costa Mesa. Sal is cool. If you aren't happy with the results, he'll redo it for you. Plus the waiting room is nice... lol
Another for Huper is Song's Tint Masters in Los Angeles. Great people, lots of experience doing this stuff.
For Madico, hit up Rich's Tint in Walnut. I also know Vic at the carwash in south coast does Madico too.
(for the california folks)

I just looked up my warranty card and I used Tint Plus...they're located in Laguna Hills but it seems like Irvine since they're close to the El Toro Y. 2nd time I used them....They used to have the Irvine BMW contract and probably still do since its just down the street. I didn't have the reciept but I think I paid around $375.

I can try to find out the guys name, but sounds like the place in Placentia is going to be a better deal anyway.
