On the surface the words sound good "ipod" and "idrive" however , it is not the fully integrated solution most of us are looking for. It uses FM modulator technique which is probably the least preferable option available to us. It does have some good ideas incorporated in the cradle however. Thanks for pointing us to yet another option

They're actually saying that in the future, iPODs and other portable music players will incorporate the Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), allowing them to connect wirelessly to properly equipped automotive systems among other things (headphones). The question will be if the E60's systems will support such an interconnect or if it will result in another hardware evolution.
