Hi all,
I've been experiencing vibration issues (60+ mph) since putting on my R10s. I was going to go with the Hunter Road Force balancing until I recently stopped by a BMW tech shop.
They claimed that the only way to get a proper balancing with 20" rims was to balance the wheel/tires while STILL mounted on the car.
Is that the case or will the Hunter Road Force machine be sufficient?
TIA....and damn it's hot here in Socal!

I think that balancing while still on the car is referred to as "finish balancing" -- I remember having that done to my car many years ago but I think it's usually done after a traditional or "road force" balance is performed.
Theoretically, finish balancing is a good idea since it treats the entire wheel/hub/rotor as a unit and can help reduce nagging vibrations that are sometimes not caused by the wheel/tire assembly. If you had to pick one type of balance though, I'd say that road force is more important because it does more than just spin a tire and wheel. Again, that's just my opinion/guess...
