Depending on your driving ambitions you can go with one of the following two options (which are the ONLY two options that are available for dropping Xi):

1. You get H&R lowering springs (I think the ones for Xi are "sport", not "race") and pair them up with Europe-only (for now, they are going to be available in the States in a couple of months) Bilstein B8 aka Bilstein Sport shocks. This is a firmer ride than OEM, but civil and livable as a daily driver.

2. You get a set of KW v.3 coilovers. These are custom-made to order and will give you adjustability and possibly a more racy ride. The downside of this setup is a. cost, b. noise issues (youtube KW coilover rattle - you'll know what I'm talking about). It may also take longer to get the KWs since they are made to order and no one stocks them.

I have an Xi and I'm going with setup number one. Already got the springs, now waiting for a notification from Bilsten NA. But I don't have a 535 - with that much power under the hood, I may have opted for the more racy setup.

Yeah, I will be going with option 1, where would you say would be the best place to purchase all of the necessary parts.

I'm currently talking to Michael at Acute Performance for the Bilsteins. Michael is a real car guy AND his price guarantee is solid, so I'll most likely be getting mine from him. He has yet to respond with the price to me, but the MSRP for these is something 1350USD and the "street" price from UK that I got some time ago (dollar has gone up considerably since) was about 1050USD shipped. But that's shipped and from UK, where things often cost more. If the mark up is anything like it is on KW's, I would guess the street price of these will be way less - I think I've said "too much" already - I don't want people looking at this post and thinking they can get away with charging more based on my numbers

As for the springs, I got them used from a SoCal member on here, but they aren't that expensive to begin with, so if I had to do it over, I'd just ask Michael for a package deal.

BTW I've shopped Acute Performance on price many times, and every time Michael came through with the best deal. I've not always bought from him though and each time I didn't, there was a reason for me to regret it. He's a track guy, so he knows A LOT about setting up the car right and he has a modded E60 - Michael could only be any better, if he gave out a set of DPE rims for free with every purchase But seriously, on price, customer service and knowledge, I have yet to meet someone who's better, hence my recommendation
