Looks really good ck-e60. Quick question to clear up some confusion. So you have the sport suspension on your car with the auto leveling rear and the H&R Sport Springs work fine correct? The only reason I ask is because some have said you can put these springs on sport suspension and some have said you can't.

Just trying to clarify, thanks!

Hey jkiech, the auto-leveling is only for the wagons. I have the sports package which has the bigger wheels, and I think better shocks...the ride is good. It's recommended that you don't get the "race" springs for the sport-packaged e-60's because the race spring eat up the shocks a lot faster compared to the "sports" springs from H&R. I know all the "sports" terms are confusing.

The "Race" series springs drops it too low for a smooth ride in my opinion, but it looks REALLY clean. If you're looking for a good ride with a nice drop, then I suggest you get the H&R "Sports" springs, which I have. They drop the car about 1.4" in the front, and about 1.3" in the rear.

You'll also notice that some sites offer the springs for cars with auto-leveling suspension...don't get these unless you have a wagon; which I have rarely seen on the road. And who mods a wagon anyways?

Thanks Raven! The ride feels pretty close to stock. I actually almost scraped pulling into 7-11 tonight, I bent over and got real close for inspection and I BARELY made it by -- no scrapes!

I'd suggest looking into this setup, it's a really good drive and isn't bumpy like those rice-rockets out there. I think this suspension will be temporary until I can afford a good set of coilovers. Either that or upgrade my shocks...still unsure what to do. Pretty much just waiting for the springs to settle which should drop me down a few millimeters. Doesn't look too bad for unsettled springs huh?

Also, I did tint my taillights. I got them done at Mr. Tint in Santa Clara. They were $135 after a 10% coupon for mentioning Yelp. While at it, I had them tint my rear reflectors on the bumper because the red from these didn't blend with the tint on the taillights. I really like how they turned out, not dark-dark, but dark and light enough.

Head over to SonicMS -- Mountain View, speak to either Darwin or Justin (they're brothers)...really cool guys and they'll hook you up on the install/parts. Whole drop cost $500, nothing more (I suggest you pay in cash).

Hope to see you guys around, honk at me or something...usually takes something to break my focus when I'm behind the wheel.

maybe 10mm up front and 15mm in the back? don't know what brand is good but I've read a lot of people do that 10mm/15mm combo but don't take my word for it .. i'm only a newbie

Thanks for pics, I will do the same, only with Eibach springs, thinking yet. I have H&R 12mm spacers in the back and nothing in the front. Got it from turnermotorsport.com.
In the front you can go with 5mm with 124's but they are not hubcentric and it will give you vibration, so I decided not to have any.

I just got my ACS rep. spoiler...the trunk finisher should be ordered next week after I make this month's car payment. Then I'll get that piece, with the ACS spoiler, plus thinking about getting the outer grille painted (going to leave the kidneys painted black). Can't wait!
