The general consensus here is that OEM is a much better way to go than replicas. Quality, fit, strength, etc. are up in the air when you get someting other than an OEM wheel. There are some exceptions, but those are on the higher end wheels (not replicas), and cost a lot more.

You might want to check out the following post from BMW OF NEWPORT. I suspect you could get the OEM M6 rims for the same price or less.

+1 on Newport BMW Rhode Island. Gary is great. I bought the 166 wheels for $1650 shipped from east coast to west coast. Shipping should be cheaper if you live closer to Rhode Island.
