yes these guys:
had a look at the car and cant figure out how they come out, dont want to force them too much.
do they pull out, or need to rotate, or push left/right?

it's in your owner's manual..
simply slide the side indicator back, towards the rear of the car...or could be forward towards the headlights, you have a 50/50 chance here ...1/2 of the indicator should pop out, simply maneuver the rest of the housing out afterwards...

I just did mine... it can be hard to move but dont be afraid to push... look at the replacements you have and it will give you an idea of what the locking clips look like... push back and lift out.

My driver's side has stopped working so I need to replace. I guess I could just change the bulb within the existing unit or change the whole unit. I see some of these come as multiple led units...just wanted to know if they are any good/reliable. Also could the existing bulb be changed for an LED. Anyone know what bulb type goes into this or would you recommend I just change the whole unit on do both sides ? Thanks for some advice on this.

I bought some LED bulbs on eBay that blink amber for $5. Works great! The bulb we need is 194

OK cool. Yes 194 seem the same as 501 or T10 Wedge as they are otherwise known. I could just change the bulb for another bulb or LED direct replacement OR change the whole outer cover thing with 1, 2 or 3 LEDs in a line. That'll match the look of the LEDs on the headlights and new LCI tail lights. Prices vary quite a lot if changing the whole unit ! I'll have a look on ebay.
