Appreciate the response, but nope not kidding. I realize that they can be removed if the wheels are off the car. But IMO it there's a way to remove them without taking the wheels off, then that's the route I would like to take.

My Ride: 2008 535i 6MT
A small screwdriver and cardboard from a toilet paper roll to protect the wheel worked for me. I pried at one of the catches on the cap and it came right off. A few minutes to replace all four.

you guys are nuts.. drilling through them.. pulling the wheels off??? thy pop off in like a second with the tinyist little eeensy weensy flathead screwdriver and will take you all of like 5 minutes TOPS to pop off and place new ones.. geez
