My car alone, stock would get an M5 in the states. Paid 120,000USD just for a 520D. My mods are a bit overpriced since I'm a foreigner in Thailand, and usually gets ripped off in about everything.

M-Tech = 3000 USD
Hartge Lip = 800 USD
Sebring Exhaust = 1000 USD
Quad Diffuser = 400 USD + 200 USD For new tips.
Koni FSD + Eibach Pro = 1200 USD
Remap = 800 USD
Hartge Pedals & E-Brake = 300 USD (Not sure, forgot what I paid)
Hartge Rims + Rubber = 6250 USD (Yes it is way over priced but hey its Thailand, most wheels are overprice for some reason)

Thats all ic an remeber for now. Prices are approximate, because of the USD-THB exchange rate and my memory of what I actually spent.
Damn..nice stuff though.....

Since i've joined this forum i've seen some cars looking like everyone else's car except for color . Then MOD explosion and the car gets a new refreshed look but at what price ? I bought my car new and for the price I paid for the spoiler, clear bra, winter setup, new wheels and tires I could have bought a loaded 550 or a certified M5.

I guess it's the position we are in when were ready to buy . I bought my car and I definitely did not want a $1000 a month payment so I got the 535xi versus the others . How do you guys feel?

By the way no need to answer just wanted to get people thinking....

Rick...

Hmm.....probably spent around $4k for the wheels, iPod connection, Shadowline trim, and Mkit. Was it justified? Hard to put a price on the smile I have when compared to the stock look with chrome trim around the windows.

Some of you guys asked if it was worth it.. Of course.. All those times I've sat at the shops for 2 hours, 3 hours, sometimes up to 5 hours, just watching my car get modded is great... Then once its all done, its feels even better, the smile the mods put on my face is priceless, as for cost, money can be earned again. Its not a big problem, but that few hours of smile everyday that you get from looking at your car and appreciating it is priceless. Also do you guys sometimes go to a restaurant, and fortunately there's parking right up the front of the restaurant, and you could see your car from where you're dining? It makes the meal all better for me!!
