How to make a Mtech air dam more like an M5...?

My Ride: 07' 550i sport; Sapphire Black/Auburn; sport package; steptronic; navigation with R.T.T.I.; heads up; cold weather package; Logic-7; BMW MOST ipod kit; Motorola V3 snap-in adapter; rear heated seats and rear shades; anthracite headliner; sirrius sat. radio; M-aero kit; OEM style 166 Wheels with 245/35-19 front and 285/30-19 rear Michelin PS2s.
I have a 550 with Mtech. It was installed prior to delivery so I don't know enough about the parts to know if the following is possible: Can the Mtech be modified so that the mouth - the center air scoop - is all one shade of black like the M5. If you look at the Mtech there are two ducts on each side of the vent, next to which there are two solid blocks of plastic before the opening to the radiator (which you can see very easily). If you notice the only thing you see on the M5 is a uniformly colored black mesh:

So I'm wondering if the mesh covering off an M5 can be installed, but there are still those sill parts of solid plastic on each side of the Mtech kit. I know this is a small point, but perfection is all in the details. Any ideas??

thats the fog lights holder. the black things next to the vent. You can have a body shop paint those fog light holders. There are some members who have them painted as well. The M5 has black air ducts next to the mesh as well.
