I hear stock shocks and h&r's will yield a softer ride, C - you may have to get stiffer shocks.

I am lowered on HR's with 20 x 8.5 Beyern. The car doesn't scrape but I do rub inside of fender more than I would like.
Measure the distance from the fender lip to the ground. Thats probably the only way to objectively compare each others cars. Of course different wheel / tire combos will affect the actual suspension drop but at least we can see where others are at in terms of the body.
