Oh brother... thats a no no it has the words "M5" on it... you can mod your car however much you want just dont use the words M5 on it, unless its a real M5, keep your existing badge... All M5 parts and then debadged is pushing it. My opinion of course.

But here I saw also on a stock ... would not put it.
Aftermarket tuning compnies make their own it, but need a new pair of fenders ..about 1500 ?

Also on the 'sad badge' theme, saw an e60 sport that obviously had been de-badged, but the guy had put an M badge in its place

I just don't get that. If you're going to spend the money to personalize your car, why try and make it something it's not. How could a person who drives an E60 think that putting ANYTHING "M" on the car won't make him look like a tool. Anytime I see a non M car with M badging, I just can't help but think how pathetic. I really try and get a good look at the person. In one instance, I was sitting right next to this E39 at a light, it was obviously a 530 w/ a sport package. It was sapphire black, really nice car but the guy had an M5 trunk lip, M5 wheels and M badges all over the damn thing. Trunk, sides, front grill. I was driving my wife's X5 and I rolled down my window and said to him, WOW, that's a nice car, what is that? I gave him the out. He had his chance to redeem himself. If he said to me, it's actually a 530, I would have given him a little credit but he came right out and said, Oh thanks, it's an M5. I said, I thought M5's had quad exhausts and different mirrors and different bumpers. He just wanted to die. The light changed and he just sat there, I guess he didn't want me to hear his 6 cylinder roar away from the light. So silly. Now granted, I did put the 4.6 wheels on my wife's 3.0 X5 and debadge the whole truck but I'm not posing. Am I?????? Please tell me I'm not.

but you can luv M Technik so it is no posing the fender gills and M5 badges yes, but the simple badge I think it is genuie BMW so you can use it.
The M5 rims on e60 we say ok, nice kool and I agree but than a simple badge.
Search many people have put it on their 337 ///M Sport pack. and they are right it is not M5 but M.
I am not going to install the ///M pack. but if I did or even without cud put the M badge anytime. YOu saw it all over the world on E46s.
