After receiving and installing my Hoen fog bulbs today, I can say that all three (Hoen, Xenesis, Piaa) bulbs are identical. I didn't see any difference between any of the three. So I took off the Hoens after three minutes and put back the Piaa so that I wouldn't have to do the other side. I must stop wasting my money trying to get the right color. I guess I would need Xenon fogs for that. Don't get me wrong all three look much better than the stock bulbs, its just that I have been looking for a bulb that doesn't produce that blueish reflection on the back of the mirrored fog light housing. So if anyone is considering changing there fog bulbs, I would go with HOEN, they are the cheapest and they are identical to the most expensive PIAA's.

Sorry man. I never had PIAA's, so I had nothing to go off of. But I do agree that HOEN's are the best route to go, being that they are the cheapest of all 3. Thanks for posting this too. This is good for all the other members out there that are considering swapping their fogs.
As for going with HID fogs, you should PM Eurocarfan. He's done this mod and can tell you the cheapest route. I think it ran him in the neighborhood of around $250 or $280...

I heard my name...
Anyway, I had PIAA 4150K fogs initially but then I upgraded my lowbeams to 6000K HID bulbs so the 4150K didn't match. I then got some PIAA 6000K GT-X bulbs and man, they were way off in color. So the only thing I could do was convert my fogs to real HIDs, 6000K temp. The look great now...

I got it at CarLab (www.carlabms.com); or call Darwin at 650-641-0194. They did the install for me as well. No error messages.
