Got my HID reverse from Brabus but I was always a bit paranoid about leaving the switch on and not realizing it....
So I took out my factory light selector assembly and modified it a bit... took me a while but the end result is extremely clean looking. I kept the switch in the footwell which acts as the main switch...if I bring my car in for service or bring it some place I don't know I would turn that switch in the footwell off and that cuts off the current and prevents the HID reverse lights from coming on so no one can mess with it. The red switch on what would be the front fog light switch is what turns on the HID lights if the main switch is on.
If the main switch is off, and I push the red button, only the yellow LED turns on, which tells me the switch is working, but the main switch is off. When the main switch is on, and I push the red button, the yellow and red LED's turn on. So whenever the yellow and red LEDs are on, I know the HID reverse is on. They only turn on when I use the switch... for normal operation like backing up the LEDs don't turn on at all. The switch took pretty long to make...drilling the holes was difficult and I went really slow so I wouldn't F it up...

Nice, looks like it was good amount of work, lol.
Like where Nelson put the toggle. I actually have my a bit hidden away, so that it can't be seen or triggered by accident.
