Hi, i was thinking of MAYBE putting HID in my rear reverse lights.
if i change it to a HID kit 35W, will i get any lamp warnings ?
i will change the fuse as well.

in sweden we are entering a darker part of the year.
during winter it gets dark at around 4pm...

Damn i hate these google adds...

I've thought of that once, but realized, by the time the HID's warm up, you'll be pulling out of reverse and into Drive already. And i dont think all the turning on and off the HID kit would be good, especially since going forward and backwards and then forwards then backwards is a common thing. the life of the HID kit would probably not last too long.

i was going to put HIDS as well just like nigxdoof. Instead, I'll also have a switch so when someone high beams me, I can put my reverse lights on. But honestly, you'll have to fabricate your own socket and also much of a pain in the butt.

If you want TOTAL brightness, get my RDASH license plate LAMPS combo with the LED reverse lights. I can now see in pitch black!

Let me first explain what the kit is:

2 Mini HID reverse bulbs, a full wiring harness, resistors, and Prolumen ballasts
Also optional is a switch.

here is a step by step:

And here is a photo of it on my M5

The mini bulbs take literally 6 seconds to warm up fully. Within 3, they are already quite visible, and by 6 seconds they are full brightness.

I've had 3 sets of Reverse HID in my cars. Never had a single bulb or ballast failure (remember, I show these off to all my customers at least 1 or 2 times a day).
