Im looking to purchase an HID Fog Conversion Kit, and I found quite a few on Ebay. Based on the pics of color temperatures, I would like to install the Deep Blue 30,000k color. Does Umnitza or any of the other reputable quality aftermarket companies offer this color temperature? I noticed that most forum members go with the much lower color temps? Is this because the Deep Blue is not compatible or is not legal? Any info on this would be great. Thanks.

I'm sorry but why would you want 30K (deep blue) as your fog light? I've seen 12k in person and it was a  for me already. Can't imagine what 30K would look like in person.

Most forum members try to match the fog light and the headlight in color for a cohesive look. I guess you can do it but I'm not sure if it's legal or not in your state though.

I have seen the 12k also, and I agree  , but that's because the color temp is purple. My e60 is mystic blue metallic, and I either want the 10k temp or the 30k temp. My low beams are xenon and have a slight blue tint. I dont it would be crazy to have blue fogs. I haven't seen the them in person so I could be wrong, but I think it would look pretty hot especially at night. Has anyone seen the 10k or 30k color temp in person?

Currently running 8K low beam and my fog is the OEM ones, don't really care much about matching but will replace low beam to 6K soon though. 8K looks good but not the brightness I want while driving.

Higher color temps are gonna make it look very very purple to almost pink.

20000K is deep blue. 12000K is purple. I would personally go with 8000K for a cleaner look. Good luck with the ebay HID kits if you plan on buying them

John,

How much of a difference is 8k to 10k? I want a deeper blue than my low beams, which are stock xenons...hint of blue. Not sure what the temp is. The reason I started this thread is because I AM leary of the Ebay HID kits. How high of a temp do you have available for the fog conversion kit, and what is your price. I am also VERY interested in getting the interior/exterior lighting kits from you, along with the euro stickers and all-in-one packages available?

Sorry John, a couple mistakes in last post. I am interested in getting the interior/exterior LED kits as well as the euro stickers. Any all-in-one packages available? Maybe even a better deal if I get the fog kit too?? Hey...doesnt hurt to ask

Unless you bought your car used, and the low beam bulbs were changed out already, your "stock" low beams should have no hint of blue. At 4300K, if anything, it's warm/yellow white. You don't get a hint of blue until approaching 6000K+.
