After MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY MANY months of research by myself (well, I only research it here and there and think of what to do), I may have come up with a SOLID solution to make HID angel eyes work FLAWLESSLY on the e6X, e9X, e-whatever u got out there! Tons of trial and error and thanks to the help of 08white's car. SInce my car STILL hasnt been programmed yet, hopefully by next week it will, I couldnt use my own car for testing. I must meet up with Raymond every now and then and try. And tonight, I have came close to it. HID angel eyes turn on as DRLs but when headlights are on, they shut off. And I came to a point that it can turn on while the headlights are on but I believe now I need to make my own cables and one connection needs to be spliced into. I am 99% confident that this will work without any problems. This is something new and exciting and I might be able to even get the price VERY competitive out there. A special design slim ballast may be used or I might still use the very expensive digital ballast which I am using for the BMW fog lights and low beam conversions. I know a few of your out there is eager to have one fully working for the e60 and before I head to e90post and start selling my products, this is my key to open the door for HID angel eyes. I am telling you, 8000K HID angel eyes are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

So who's excited about this? Am I the only one along with Raymond?

i had been waiting for so long with 8000k HID ae
guys, you will have the HID ae for LCI model soon, from john

nothing can compare to HID ae, not led, or any kind of bulb, you can even drive the car without headlights on if you have HID ae

maybe some pics later

damage should be from $160 to $180. Most likely $180 with custom built cables by hand from me I hate building cables.

thanks. still a work in progress but i know it can work fine. The signals are VERY weird coming from the angel eye when any part of the light is on.

that is not for fog lights though. It's slim but doesnt work properly with BMWs

The slim ballasts are just slim ballasts with no built-in decoder and is not digital. However, with a custom cable built, it may work. I will have to test to see which one works better.
