My Ride: 2010 528i E60 Sedan, Titanium Silver, M5 front bumper
Default

OEM Style 166, powder coated...finally. Wrapped in Nexen 3000s, 235/35 and 265/30. The rear needs a 10mm spacer IMO, just waiting on some longer bolts. Otherwise, I'm digging how they turned out. Also sitting at my body shop are the M5 rear bumper and side skirts from Umnitza, along with their quad exhaust. They should be on in about 2 weeks. Giggity

Looks nice but I was wondering the same thing. Actually saw some wheels+tires for sale on an E90 forum that would fit my car but had the 235/30 and 265/30. I gave it some thought but it seems you really have to worry about pot holes at that size.

Nice wheel color ... but odd tire sizes as everybody wonderin' ... aren't those 3-series/e9x tire sizes? Some people went taller w/ 245/40-19 & 275/35-19.

Can't really tell if you have Sport Package or not due to the current tire setup the car ride height look unusual, you might wanna consider a drop.

Yikes ... not sure 'bout your tire place now their stuff ... even BMW recommend 245/275 on their optional catalog (That's why other members surprised they recommended you w/ 235/265 setup) ... some even use 285/30 on the rear which exactly match diameter w/ the front 245/35. Recommended tire size for 19" e60 are listed in RealOEM website too just not the 235/265.

Going taller to 40/35 profile are still OK but going wider size must be careful especially up front, I think you may have confused that if you are using 255/40 (real M5 stock size) up front then you'll run into rubbing problem but staying at 245/275 width you can go w/ 35 and/or 40 sidewall height.

Or use http://www.1010tires...ecalculator.asp to compare differences from your stock 17" tire w/ 235/265 ten w/ 245/275.

I'll stick with it for now since I just got them on, but I might switch it up next time around.

Also, about going taller with 40/35... I've done a lot of research, and if I remember correctly, some people had problems with that height on the non-M5 E60s. I could be wrong though..

I run 235/35 and 265/30 on a 8.5 and 9.5j.... its perfect! Just gives u that little extra clearance to drop and allows for a more aggresive offset

running 40/35 on my sport suspension v-8, no rubbing at all. Prefer some meat on the tires for those damn pot holes around my area.
