My Ride: Black Sapphire 2004 5.30i
Default

I just bought a 2004 5.30i about 2 weeks ago.

I'm new to BMW products and have been real excited to start changing mine up a bit...

can anyone tell me how I will know that a certain wheel will fit on my car (other than by word of mouth from the seller)???

currently i have stock 17inch wheels...i'd like to change it up but most choices seem to be in the 18/19 range....and the way BMW customizes all their parts specifically for BMW...i'm a bit worried the lug nuts or some other part might be 5 series specific....

i'm trying to figure out how i know what will fit...plesae help!

congrats on the 530. your stock wheels are offset ET20 all around, and as for size our of your options Id recommend going 19s coming from 17s. the recommended biggest size would be 20s. you can check the classifieds/vendor classifieds for some options as well as the parts/accessories portion of the forum for ideas on wheels and other mods as well. and welcome

Thanks...although these wheels are a little while (and a lotta $$) down the road...i like to keep looking for good deals...

so from what you're saying i can buy any 19 inch wheel (that is fit for a BMW 5 series) no matter what really?

i don't understand the offset thing very well?

(i also don't know much about cars if you can't tell)
