When I ship products to my customers, I put the values less than $100. I can ship two or three seperate packages and this will be shipped as gifts. I shipped an airbag to my customer in Brazil and I listed as $95 on custom form. This will eliminate the tax. Also, all packages needs to be removed so product is no longer consider brand new in the box.
For the price, charge him only $299 for the kit. Because you're long term member here and asking good deal for Lavito, I don't charge him the $29 extra. I plan to donate that $29 to the forum, but I'll do that later.
I price I gave him was the same as the one I listed in this thread for steering wheel, airbag, paddles, and other accessories. The list price is roughly 15% higher that what I quoted. For example, brand new M5 steering wheel listed on eBay for $849.99 + $49 for shipping, but the price for Lavito is just $799.
When I buy parts here, I have to pay 8.25% California, and that has been included in the price.
