So I fitted kw v2 coilover last month and I couldn't be happier with the drop. I, however, realized one thing after one month. The coilover has been rubbing against the front tires! Initially it rubbed against the spring, so there's no noticeable noise. Then last week I lowered the rear some more, and now the front tires are rubbing against the spring seats (the purple part). The design of the spring seat makes them "eat" the tires. I was fortunate enough to have discovered this before the tires were blown. Has anyone had this issue with kw v2 coilover? I'm running BMW OEM Style 247 18x8 ET20 in the front, with 245/40/18 Bridgestone RE050 RFT tires. I'm running 5mm spacers in the front now, and it just barely clears now.

Another issue is, I tried putting 15mm spacers in the rear (18x9 ET32, 275/35/18), and the right side was rubbing against the fender. The left side wasn't rubbing at all. In fact, there's still a considerable gap between the tire and the fender lip. Is it possible that my car is not symmetrical in terms of strut housing position? Or is there an error in the installation of the KW? The camber was -1.59 left and right before I lowered it further. After I lowered it further, the camber should be more now. Has anyone else had this issue?

Please help

(1) Has the 5mm fixed the rubbing issue on the inside for the front?

(2) Might want to check the camber again or make sure the spacers are indeed the same size.

(1) Yes, the 5mm spacer fixes the rubbing but it just BARELY clears it. The distance between the tire and the spring seat is now literally paper thin. I slipped a piece of paper inbetween and it just barely clears. It's weird since some people are able to fit 19x9 ET20 wheels with KW suspension without any rubbing issue. Right now, on 18x8 ET20 wheel, I'm already rubbing inside.

(2) The spacers are the same size. I'm going to get an alignment this weekend to make sure the camber is not off. But even if the camber is off by a little, the difference shouldn't be too great. Right now, without spacer, I can fit almost two fingers between the right rear tire and fender comfortably, but on the left side, I can only fit one finger and it's already very tight. Again, weird because I'm on 18x9 ET32, and some people are able to fit 19x10 ET20 without having to roll their fenders. I know it's normal to have a slight variance between the left and right side, but I didn't expect the variance to be this great.

Does this mean I can't get aftermarket wheels?

I forgot to add, my car is an LCI. 530i with N52 engine.
