Help: OEM M5 exhaust on 530i

Will it fit? how will it sound? anyone ever done it?

it will not fit, specifically the right side due to the spare tire compartment and battery compartment of the non-M e60s.

well if it is just on the driver side, it should fit...

apparently RPI exhaust for 530i is from m5 left section

If its just the OEM left side muffler, it will work.

On my E39 V6, I ran the OEM M5 left side muffler, and removed the resonator. I loved the sound.

Looking for quads. trying to fill an m5 bumper. I'm scared of spending the money on an exhaust that sounds like a tin can on a honda civic.

What if I get a Y pipe and another stock 530i exhaust for the quad setup?

sorry it still wont fit on the right side.


honestly best is to go with a custom setup for quads. we recently did one locally as well. most common quad setup we do consists of an x-pipe, 2 cylindrical mufflers, and tips.

i have the full m5 exhaust they guy who had the car before me did it i guess he redid the whole trunk floor and battery compartment basically a waste of money! i wouldnt have done it..
