My vote......leave them as it is. Painting them will look cheap, just my honest opinion.

Black wheels will only look good if they have polished or chrome lips. The only times I've seen the whole wheel painted black like what you're attempting to do is on rice rocket racers. That in my opinion, will ruin the luxury look of your 5.

Just my opinion..in the end, do what makes you happy.
