I'm looking at 3 19" OEM rims, this includes the M style 166, 101, and 172. Yes I like the sport rims that come with car but want summer tires as well.
Each has pro's and con's and I'd like to hear what you think.
166 - By far best looking on any e60, and are the least expensive of the 3 ($1600). I worry that I will see too many of them via M5's and because I have the M Aero Kit, I am hesitate to have a copy cat car (no flames, I know I know - but it is sort of true). That is my only hesitation.
101 - Very beautiful and elegant rims, most expensive, about $2000. Look like a real pain to keep clean and sort of make me think about rims that were on the e39 if you know what I mean. I keep coming back to them on looks alone.
172 - Really sharp and extremely different, I won't see any of them around here, and I love the angles they create - but again, look difficult to clean. About $1800 I believe. Need to be ordered from Germany and 3 weeks out.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks to the 3 members I stole these pics from, love all your rides!

The 101's remind me less of the E39 528's and more of a silver version of the BBS wheels we would see all over the place in the 80's. Just a nicer version. I wouldn't go with the 101's just out of nightmare for cleaning.
The 166 or the 172's would be my choice.

Have you thought of 128's. They look nice on the E60 and you dont see many around. ![Thumbsup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/thumbsup.gif)

Why not 167 (AKA M6 wheels). They are realy cool.
I do love Harte Classics - just expensive and impossible to find.
