Hey guys. I'm planning on getting lowering springs & shocks for my 530i w/ sports package. Can you guys help me choose which springs are good? I've heard some good things about H&R and Bilstein. And what are coilovers? I'm looking for springs & shock combo that perform well and won't jeopardize the smooth ride. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated!

with the H&R springs youll be lowering your sport at about 0.7" in front and 0.6" in the rear. another option for springs are the eibach pro-kit springs. between the 2, the eibachs ride more like stock springs. coilovers would replace the full shock and spring setup and are height adjustable. if interested we are located in Tustin, and we can do install on the suspension as well

@ Nerwyll, do you know how much the H&R springs will lower a non sport e60? Also can you explain to me what self leveling is? According to H&R's website one could purchase sport springs with or without the self leveling. Or one could purchase the race springs < i would imagine these would give the car an even more stiff ride than sport springs.
