What he's referring to, bmwpartsguy, is there have been some instances where this board has solved problems that some dealers say have been confounding them. By comparing notes, we have discovered a few solutions that have been helpful to other forum members. We see you as a big asset in this department.

Yep, hope you didn't take it the wrong way. It's great to have someone "official" on the boards for information sharing.

I wish we could get a couple of UK dealers on the boards, I'm not sure they have discovered the internet yet.

Let me know if you're or anyone else interested.

bmwpartsguy:
Welcome to the forum. One of the common problems forum members have is related to part numbers. We often find different dealers are unable or unwilling to find individual parts. This group, as a whole, is very determined to get enhancement for their cars. An example would be the center console wood piece around the Nav. or cubby. With all the different wood types and with or without Nav. we can't seem to get straight answers. Can you get those different part numbers? Instant Hero Status Available!!!!!!

Hi BMWPartsGuy,

Would you please check if AUX is installable in US? I am able to get the part number (65 12 0 153 502), but I just want to check if software is available for AUX module.

FYI, the AUX part/accessories info paper is EBA No.: 01 29 0 395 827
Thanks.

I would have to have the last seven vin digits of each requested car. So i can see the option codes of that exact car. That tells me what wood the car has. Are you talking about the wood around the heater controls?

I can't believe we have our first "celebrity" on the forum. Isn't it great to see who is lifted to this status? We are definitely obsessed.

Welcom aboard BMWPARTSGUY!!!!
