Thumbs up

I just received the HID fogs from John (Thanks!) and am now trying to figure out how to setup the wires correctly.

Which way is correct? This view is from the bottom of ballast

A (red-wire at the bottom):

B (red-wire on top):

What do I do with all the other plugs? If I remember correctly, there is only the one plug from the car to the bulb?

I plan on using zip ties to fasten the ballast to the car. Is this the recommended way?

Thanks!

as long as it turns on, it doesnt matter which plug which direction. use the red wire on bottom. Now that plug goes to the factory harness. Now plug the wires from the bulb and connect it to the ballast. Whatever u see can plug, plug it in. Then zip tie it snug and smille and take pix!

You got the answers already

Here are some pics how I mounted the ballasts.
I didn?t want to leave the ballasts lying around down there and I wanted to attach them properly without uninstalling the headlights.

This is the drivers side. Behind the ballast there?s a small gap/hole where you can fit the cables to go down to the foglight. I used zip tie and its quite ok.

And here are some shots of the passenger side. This was much easier to do. There is already bolt existing and I just attached the ballast to that.

I managed to install the passenger side HID fogs but I'm having trouble finding a place to attach the ballast on the driver's side.

Did you remove your air filter to attach the ballast on the driver's side?

So my car has half of a mod! Have to go to work so it will have to wait.

u can leave it hanging inside. Or u can remove ur headlight and mount it that way.

Air filter? Sorry mate I don?t know what you mean

I didn?t remove the headlights, so I installed the drivers side ballast right behind the headlight and guided the cables down from that small gap...

It might be a lot easier, if you check the DIY and remove the headlight...
