Just curious why the seat back has the "alligator" texture like the head rest. Is this part of the monitor installation?

No, it'snt. It's a standard BMW option and it's called "Exclusive" leather. In Europe you have a choice among three different leather otions: Dakota, Nasca and the alligator-like Exclusive.

they look great maybe oversized but i can see you want the screen as big as possible.
can you post all the details and who cut /fitted the screens in h/rests.
by the way how you get on with the tv fitment? you were doing.
i have fitted rgb and now progressing to dvd changer or hard drive? not sure

please post all details power routing and feeds what about the wires thru seats etc

It is call exclusive nappa leather

they look great in the past all my cars i had i always put tv's in my headrests and iv been waiting and lookin for so long if anyone put them in this car finally. They look good though did you have them cut out and then put the tv in or you had the tvs and cut them to fit the headrest?

Looks nice

I'm on my way installing some screens in a few weeks. Could you post some pictures of the DVD player ? Was there any problems with the cables when you did the install ? Are they in the back of the seat ?
