Default Headlights Replacement

PLEASE HELP!!!
I recently purchased headlight assembly units off a 2004 BMW 525i to replace those on my 2005 BMW 525i. There are two issues:
~The 2004 has 2 plug-ins, the 2005 has 1.
~The 2004 main plug-in has 8 pins, the 2005 has 7.

What do I need to do to make this work??

Is the new assembly the same exact P/N?

Ok, plug it in and see if it works. If it does, then great, if not, then return it. I'm not saying to fully install it, just plug it in.

They are not interchangeable. The one you have was replaced in 08/05 and stopped being put on cars after 02/05. For it to work it will cost you more time and money than it's worth. What is your build date?

It looks like your car was equipped with Halogen headlights, and you are trying to swap it for a Xenon Headlight.

The 8 pin on the newer headlight is just an extra ground wire.

As seanjordan20 mentioned,

For it to work it will cost you more time and money than it's worth.
It would most likely require running about 6-8 new wires from the headlights to the cabin, plus a new headlight module, and AHL control module. They would also require some coding to the vehicles as well.
