Hey guys. Ive been doing some major upgrades to my car, but am confused about my options for headlight upgrades. My car is a 2004 525i and I know nothing about lighting (leds, angel eyes, etc..). I dpont believe I have angel eyes or xenon or anything, but can somebody let me know? How can I upgrade these to brighter, more white lights? And whats the price tag? Heres a bad pic of when I first got the car....

You've got Halogen's on your car. So no Xenons for you.
You can upgrade the angel eyes really easy.
Check out the Pinguk post. He has place to order the bulbs and how to replace it. Good luck.

You can upgrade the angel eyes with a set of 194 replacement bulbs. We have them in LED but you can also install just standard blue coated bulbs to upgrade the color. For the headlights, you can replace the bulbs with our Xenesis Tru Match Bulbs which are a blue coated halogen bulb that emits a more pure white color. You can do these for the lows, highs and fogs.

I have the same set up as you (basic halogens) and I ordered the bulbs through Pinguk and the angel eyes look really good now. Nowhere near as bright as the newer LCI lights. but they still look good. You can either order the bulbs from Pinguk or get any other bulbs (194's I believe)..... It's a DIY that should take you less than 5 minutes.....seriously, it's a piece of cake.
