Default Head light lens replacement

Hi all. I've got a 2005 e61 535d M Sport. The headlights have seen better days. They are quite badly pitted, scratched and have started to haze.
I want to know if there is anywhere in the UK especially the can replace the outer lens as mine let the car down quite badly. I've seen that various US guys can and have the balls to rip the old ones off but are they replaced with new?
Any help would be hugely appreciated as replacing xenon dynamic headlights will need a mortgage otherwise.
Cheers

I don't think you can get new lens', but you can sand them dow'n and re-coat them.

Thanks for the reply. I was aware of resto procedure but parts of my light lens looks brittle and almost cracked to the eye. I was going to try and spice them up with a sand and polish and waxing but I don't think it'll make them as good as I'd want.
As said, I'm sure some American guys are offering replacements when work is carried out.
Thanks anyway man

Check with nomis_nehc or Chris. They both do headlights. If you decide to do yourself, sanding and polishing s short lived. Urs sounds bad so imagine u will need to take them down all the way so u would end up with no clear on the lens. If u do this then re coat with clear and uv protectant.

Thanks for the advice man. I'm desperate and all and any advice is greatly received and appreciated.
I'm currently having the car vinyl wrapped and changing the appearance dramatically but the headlights keep it from being perfect.
Anymore info from anyone would be amazing

I had my lights painted black. not tinted.. but painted black. mixed with heavy clearcoat so light still shined through at night..

Decided it looked ugly after a little while. had them wetsanded and recoated a very light smoke color.. only cost 100 bucks..

If youre pits/scratches are only outside wear.. Really cheap and easy to have done..

Thanks for the reply image969.
Need to get something sorted as the colour change has enhanced the fault further in my head and it bugs me badly

A7eys,

I noticed you have replaced your halos with Leds. I am also after the same look.
Can you kindly give me feedback on my thread:

Good man, thanks for the info. It's very helpful and I'm pleased to finally know I can't get a replacement lens. I have already started a refurb on the external lens using wet and dry and then polishing them back up. All is well at the moment.
Thanks
