What did you see? I've helped R1 perfect these rotors for this car.

The bite but they fade during high speed braking, bedded them correctly but they still make noise from time to time, not only is the brake dust noticeably less but the dust comes off alot easier, just my input

I love my Hawk HPS pads...they have been on since the summer and they are worth it for the low brake dust alone. I also have the R1 cross drilled & slotted rotors...

Michael @ Acute is a great vendor...awesome customer service before, during & after the sale.

I've helped R1 resolve that rust issue because they now coat the entire rotor surface. Like I said before, I've directly helped R1 make a better rotor.

Mike, I just received a set of R1 Premium drilled rotors directly from them and they were not entirely coated. I've written them referencing anoither of your threads about the coating. I'll see what they say. Thanks for taking our concerns to the manufactures.

Hi Mark,

They only coat the entire rotor for my orders. It's a deal that I've worked out with them because I've purchased so many sets.

I was the one that started that thread...And yes, Michael and R1 resolved the issue. My replacements still look great after a year. I would get them again and my Hawk HPS pads when it comes time to replace them. The low easy to clean dust is great!

^ Agreed with balbs. I would get them again. Michael hooked it up very fast. I have the HPS pads and Premium R1 D/S rotors. I have minimal brake dust and the stopping power is great.
