Sorry to correct you bruce depending on the ohms of the subs hes running he could run a mono amp ive ran 4 subs wired at 1ohm with a mono 1ohm stable amp mono and stereo amps infact have nothing to do with how many speakers you want to run you just have to wire the ohm's correctly
what does it mean by all other wires going into the female connector

Thats a good amp and in that case you don't even need the remote wire because the amp has that speaker sense signal feature. You don't need tyco pins just use the BMW part numbers I've given here in the thread above.

Your diagram is correct, yes you wont need any LOC with that amp.
Buy any wire but make sure that the conductor is atleast 4mm think. Hope you have a crimping tool at hand to crimp the tyco contacts to the wires. Don't put the contacts into the plug until you are sure where it should go because you cannot easily remove the contact from the plug after you push it in.
P.S. : You do realise that you need to still power your new amp.

i tried to remove the original plug today, i knocked off the locking buttons on the side and tried to slide it out. Its really hard to slide out, i feel like i can break it, is sliding it out towards the right direction the only way it works?
