Has anyone removed and reinstall M5 trunk spoiler? I installed mine yesterday but I was rushing and it is a little off now.. So I'm not sure what is the best way to remove it.. Perhaps use a dental floss?

It will come up easily, but another forum member mentioned to me that it's necessary to install new tape prior to remounting. Even though the old tape may stick back down initially, it will peel up later. This may be obvious to many, but I wasn't aware of the chemical reaction that takes place once the tape backing is removed and exposed to oxygen. I have the same spoiler in my garage, but am waiting until it is warmer to install. Good luck.

Yeah, new tape is a must. I'm gonna go pick a new one from my dealer today and try to reinstall it. It's very important to clean the surface from the old glue/tape as well.

I will post back later today once I do it.

ok, just did it tonight. It was actually pretty easy. First removed the spoiler from the trunk, using dental floss. Took few tried as floss is not strong enough. Then removed old tape and cleaner the surface of trunk using wax and cleaner the spoiler inside surface using alcohol to make sure all the glue come out.
