I also agree that the arrows help tremendously. I've driven past cops on the side of the road and they've pulled out somewhere in the cars behind me, out of my site. The V1 arrows pointing to the rear alerts me that there's still the continuously strong signal from behind. If the cop didn't pull out, the signal from the behind arrows would diminish as I pull away from the source. Other detectors wouldn't do this.
Also, I know the V1s have been upgraded in the past and the advantage to this is that you can buy the incremental upgrade instead of replacing your detector for a whole new unit.

Understandable guy's!
I have clients that won't ever give up their "Arrows", so we just hardwire them along with their Escort SRX.
.....Has anybody received a ticket with a V1?

Instant-on radar with me being the only car on the road at night coming back from Montreal. No radar detector existing will save me from that. NOTE: I said detector not jammer.

I received a ticket with an Escort Passport 8500. It didn't even go off. Not sure what band they were using, but it definitely wasn't X, K, Ka, or Laser.
I was in Florida, south of Daytona on I-95 Southbound. State Trooper was in a grey unmarked Caprice, with hoopty rims. He was sitting in the median.

So what im hereing you say is that the V1 radar detector is the best one to get. Or which one. first off I dont drive that fast maybe 10mph over the speed limit at any given time, so Im not even sure if I need one.

Did he ask you to pay him in cash, on the spot?

Then here's my advice:
1. Buy a V1.
2. Drive FASTER!

I got pulled over in Georgia years ago, before I had my V1.... the fat, white, hick cop waddled over to my window and said: "Gimme yo drabbin' labbin'."
