And why do they state that they would fit xi modles if the front and rear measurements are the same (I thought the recommended fitment is different than what there selling)

It has to do w/ high/big offset number ... not related to the size ...
If you have xi/awd model pls use the search function ... as many threads about it has been discussed extensively.
