I have Silver Gray on my car, but if i had a choice to buy E60 again.. Alpine white would be the color.

I've had four Alpine White BMW's over the years and I'll almost certainly get another one when it's time...

My previous car was white and I loved it. It didn't show the dirt as much. Now I have Silver Gray, but don't know about showing how dirty she is because she is always being washed. But I have to admit, I do see a lot of Silver Grays when I'm driving around. Doesn't bother me too much though.

Wow many of you are ponting towards the alpine white...
I have only seen one alpine white in person and for a total of 30 seconds. But as the days go by i am leaning more towards the alpine white.

Got alpine white/beige myself, and love it. I see many silvers in my area, they all look great.

It's a matter of taste. Ooops, sorry, did I state the obvious? FWIW, I agonized too about my / our (wife and me) choice (wagon, silver gray, gray interior, anthracite trim). We got to it kind of by a process of elimination - our ideal would be a light silver blue, which I think BMW offers on some cars but not ours. It helps if you can see the exact car, which we could not. But we are VERY happy with our choice so far (less than a week, and I only see it on weekends). Bottom line, I don't think you should get pushed into it by anyone else's opinion. Keep agonizing until the drop-dead date, enjoy the process, and enjoy the car.

Go with the white, my E60 is white

Heres a pic of my car with other member's at a meet.

Silver and gray are very common white would be unique and stand out.

I can't get my silver gray dirty. I just do basic daily dusting and removal of obvious road crud.

Often, the silver gray has something of a blue look to it. That's one of the reasons I chose it.

Alpine White is the best color for showing off the E60 lines at night, IMO.
