half shadow line, half chrome. + black grille

here it is. I think it looks good. If i change my mind i can finish the bottom. I think it runs nicely with the headlights and my clear tail light blinker area. like i said im just tired of doing mods right now. I want my rims, and i want to relax.
with that said the black grille looks perfect. Painted myself. Used grille's and trim from calvin painted black.
grille cost:
$30 shipped.
>$5 paint. (already had it from trim)
trim:
$30 shipped.
$5 paint.
total project:
$70
bmw quoted price:
shadowline:
$230-shipped
grille's from vendor:
$40-70
bmw project cost around 270-300 not installed. installed $440-$470.
comments, suggestions, questions. Thanks!

yea not bad for a chick with a can of paint!! I will finish the trim but not this week or even next week.
I am not handy and could not have done any of the things to my car that you did to yours (other than the E60.net clings ).
If I had to earn my living by working with my hands, I'd starve.

i had made a thread about the 50/50 shadowline but was questioning how it would look on AW, i have to say i dont hate it. its not horrible but needs some getting used to. the grills look great but still undecided on the trim. give some time and see how it grows on you good work either way
