How much are the spacers and where do you but them from?

20mm looks great but concerned with the clearence hence I would be interested in 15mm at the rear and 10mm in front?Or do the rears and fronts have to match? Any advice?

Depends on your car and which wheels came standard on it. The 20mm rear spacer is based on a 9,5 in wide wheel with ET 32.

He suggested 15 mm rear and 1O mm front but the 15 mm were out of stock so he suggested to give it a go with the 2Omm and the tuning shop sayd wouw i did not think it would clear but that s about perfekt.

If i should remove the Mtech suspension and go with something lower then maybe they would have to roll the fenders but i have no plans to do so thus its ok.

The brand was hr in front and eibach in the rear. The eibach was 1OO dollars i think but had the anti theft wheel bolts and the front hr did not have anti theft wheel bolts.

Yes.. perhaps even a little less. That is to say that on the front side of the wheel well nearest the front end of the hood.. it's a little tight but doesn't rub. The rear side of the wheel well nearest the windshield has enough space, no problem there.

I'm really considering dumping the 15mm's in the rear and getting 20mm's. In the front, the 10mm spacers brought out the wheels perfectly but the 15mm in the rear still leaves the wheels in a bit and doesn't match the fronts. I'll have to take more looks and measurements to make sure it's alright.

What do you guys think? Is 20mm for the rear over-doing it? I know when I was researching this there was a lengthy discussion between 12mm or 15mm for the rear but now I'm thinking 20mm's would have been even better...

PS. I noticed no one's commented on my decreased body roll comment after the spacers were installed. Has anyone who's installed these things noticed that or is it just my imagination?

Any rubbing problems on the fronts? Just curious, why did you go with the H&R spacers over the Eibach (I see Livermore sells both)?

Hr has no anti theft bolt screw inserts. Eibach does. But doenst matter. They will rather steel the whole car in stead of just the wheels

And any professional thief has anti theft bolts with him so.....

Why? Hr rear was out of stock. Both are good. Both have a ring so no vibrations

Mark,

The spacers make the car look really aggressive. However, I was going to buy a set of 19" M3 CSL rims but the offset was different , since they're for E46. I asked EuroRev if this could be solved by adding hub-centric spacers. They said that for 525 and 530 would been OK, but 545 has so much more torque that he would not recommend adding spacers. I am really interested if you could followup your experience with us down the road.

I am also interested to know if there would be more debris kicked up by the tires. I don't want to sandbrast my bumper as a trade off for better looks.

Did I mention your car looks great?

Hey Guys,

I finally got around to installing the 20mm spacers after getting my rim fixed. Here's comparison shots of all 3: stock, 15mm, and 20mm.

20mm seems perfect for me but it might be too aggresive for some. Most members here have used either 12mm or 15mm in the rear with I believe no spacers in the front.

So there you have it. I'm happy with the 20mm rear's and 10mm front's but again it might be too much for some.

I have the 15mm spacers and powder coated black longer bolts available if anyone wants them. I also have 2 sets of wheel locks available with both black and silver caps for those without spacers who would like them. Here's some pics of those. If you want please let me know as I have no use for these things anymore!

15mm spacers and bolts:

Wheel Locks.. I have 2 sets of these:

I want to install the 20mm spacers on the rear of my 545i. Is there any rubbing whatsoever, under any load on the rear suspension? Will they rub during high-speed cornering?

I am thinking of doing 20mm in the rear and leaving the front stock. Do you think that will look awkward?
