and if we were talking about strut bars...are there any aftermarket options that are significantly better than factory? I suspect the strut bars are the same...sport, non-sport, or M sport.
I thinks so as well, I can't imagine what aftermarket products would do any better than factory strut bars.
Possibly more rigid, tighter ?

they are 1000 time better than the factory 1s. have you seen the stock 1 they are only 1cm think and very light and I know that they are not made out of steel and are not stiff at all.

what are they made of? do any of you know?

H&R offers sway bars. I don't believe there's any vendors out there that have sway bars for cars with ARS though. I talked to Dinan and they said that cars with ARS would require a software upgrade to adjust for new swaybars. Cars without ARS can use bars from H&R.

As for strut bars, the one Dinan makes is a direct replacement of the factory bar and is the same shape but stiffer and more rigid cause it's made of carbon fiber. Dinan also is releasing the rear strut bar in carbon fiber but I haven't seen a picture of it yet.

I wonder if this holds true for the xi model w/ sport package. sport package on the xi model does not include ARS or the sport suspension. hmmm....
