Has anyone used Green Earth Technologies Bio-Based oil in their e60?
I'm coming up for an oil change soon and I was thinking of giving it a try.

Why would you risk your car's engine for some tree huggers?
If anything goes wrong, there is NO way BMW wil cover ANY damage.

I've been keeping an eye on that stuff. Looks promising...specially for us BMW owners. The test car they used was a race ready M3. Apparently it outperformed all synthetics out there.
Krozi...is not tree hugging...it's evolution. Living in Miami I thought you would appreciate having a few trees aroud

I lived 4 years in Miami (Gables for one year and Biscaya for the other 3) and have since relocated to the northwest. You gotta love the trees...

You guys are awesome!
Krozi I would agree with you though. It's all about conservation and there is too much green washing. Hell, I ditched my Prius last year for the 550 and I drive less now.
However, there's a crap load of spare meat fat that can be used!
It has an ASE and API rating.
