Hey guys, I just installed a GP Thunder 8500k H8 Angel Eye bulb in my E92, but about 2 min after I installed them, the side where I had it in smelled a bit like burnt plastic.
I checked the bulb and it's 35 Watt, just like the original but I turned them off for now...

I am just wondering if fresh wiring can smell a little burnt when it's under current for the first time and if this is normal.... I don't want to fry the wiring in the headlights...

Thank you

-Krozi

Smell went away...I guess the wires have a "break-in period"

Well for anyone to really be sure that you are safe and your car may not catch on fire we're going to need to see pictures ASAP

there is nothing wrong with your GP Thunder Bulbs, did you get V2 or V1?
