sorry if I missed it. I just got my 06 525i and wanted to do some clean mods. Where do I get the bulbs to replace the oem ones and what bulb are you all purchasing (exact part #)? any other interesting mods you suggest?

Anyone know if these "Hassle Free LED's" from Ebay work?

They claim no resistor is required. If anyone has tried these please give us some feedback.

Thanks!

ok got the pic

Hey friend...

I just bought these resistors and they still show warning lights... is there like polarity or something or did i install it wrong??? i pretty much put the metal ends in that hole for the LED blub and bent it in like you did.. but still showing off warning...

could i also use the same resistors for the BACK UP LEDs too??

Please help..

Thanks

Just did the mod with Festoon LEDs and Radio Shack resistors. Looks great; now we'll see how they last!

I'm still unsure of which festoon LED to buy. I see some people posting $6 cost for 39mm LEDs but the only one I see costs $9.99

Is this the correct one? Did they increase the price?
