its really personal preference. for a single side when I had my eisenmann they were 3" (76mm) round and staggered and I liked that look on my e60, but I know that 3.5" (83mm) would fill out better. for quads, a lot of people like the oval tips compared to round ones. Im biased though when it comes to tips for a quad setup

83mm = 3.27"

90mm = 3.54"
